2 months...how can that be!?

Parker Newton,

I cannot even begin to capture here who you are and how you have changed our family! You were a missing piece we never knew we needed.

You...
...wear 3 month and 3-6 month clothes. You are outgrowing everything!
...wear a size 1 diaper
...weigh 11lbs 9.5oz (50%)
...are 24in (90%!)
...eat every 2.5 hours! except at night you go from 2.5 to 3 hour stretches. I do have to say that last night (7/17) you slept for 9 hours and only got up once!!! I hope this is a new thing. You went down at 10:30, we still have to work on that, got up at 3:30 and then at 7:30.
...We made it through the 8 week growth spurt. You had yours last week at 7 weeks. You were up every 1.5 hours. It almost killed mommy. I was definitely a grouchy, tired mommy for that week.
...smile a LOT! I am waiting on the first giggle. You smile for daddy's funny faces and Peyton's smothers.
...have had 3 bottles. The last was 5oz! We are still working on you taking them when mommy is away.
...moved into your room at 7 weeks! mommy and daddy are so thrilled.
...sleep on your tummy.
...are starting to get on a schedule. You go to bed around 10, get up about 7, go back to nap about 8 for a few hours, have afternoon nap about 1.
...love to lay on the ottoman and will just talk and smile.
...always look so serious.
...look like an old version of your daddy :)
...are called old man, park, parky, parker man, squishy

My goodness, your sister loves you more than I thought she ever could. She absolutely adores you. She loves to get the diaper bucket for changes. She has tried to change you herself a couple of times. She will lay all over you if you cry. She loves to cover you up with a blanket. She is always in your face which drives us crazy but you seem to like it. You will calm and smile when she is all over you. She plays the drums on your belly and tries to teach you how to high-5. She is ready for you to be her play buddy! I can tell that you are going to be the best of friends.

Tomorrow is a big day my big man! Tomorrow we dedicate you. I am so excited about this special day in your life. I hope you can always understand what it is to love and follow God. We know that you are only lent to us for a short time here by our Lord and Savior. We understand that your sole purpose is to praise and glorify Him. Understanding that tomorrow we give you back to Him as His son. We pray that you grow into a strong man of God ready to lead your family and accomplish His will. We will always be here to support you and love you as you walk this journey of life.

We love you most,
Mommy and Daddy
