Things I don't want to forget...

Peyton Lea,

You are growing so quickly I can hardly believe it! I never want to forget, so I here are some of our latest happenings...

You are 10.5 weeks old!

You are in 3-6 month clothes! We moved up just last week.

You moved to a size two diaper this past Saturday.

You have been sleeping in your room, in your crib since last Sunday, 11/27. You are doing wonderful! You go down between 8:30 and 9 each night. We usually have a feeding about 11:30, 3:30, and 6. Those vary, but something around that...a 4 hr and then a 3 hr stretch. We are so proud of our big girl! Now if you would just start sleeping through the night...

Friday night you had your first sleepover with nana and pawpaw. You did wonderful! You slept in your pack-n-play in their room. Nana said you were kicking your feet and pawpaw was just laughing at you. Aunt Kady actually called to check on you and went to visit before we did on Saturday! Mommy and daddy did great too! I missed you tons, but we loved the rest and time to relax and be together.

Sunday, December 4, you were dedicated at Gardendale Nazarene by Pastor John Parrish. We have had several people comment on how special the ceremony was. Pastor explained the roses and we went to the front where he dedicated and prayed over you. We then knelt at the altar and had the family pray with us. It was a very special time. We realize that you are God's first and he has so graciously allowed us to be your parents here on earth. My prayer is that you will always put Him first in your life. Since it is Christmas time they also had the children from the school there and they rang bells. It was so cute. I can't believe you will be up there one day! Pastor John spoke on Mary: Ordinary Woman. His main verse was "with God all things are possible". How fitting. With God ALL things are possible.

You are growing more each day! You are such a happy baby. I love to see your big smile and hear you get so excited. These are special moments we are sharing.

Love,
Mommy
